The IT Team mission is to support and co-lead the business/IT transformation currently underway. This transformation includes the reengineering of the operating model, i.e., processes, people, and technology. The Sr PM-NetSuite will be responsible for leading the business and IT delivery processes to affect this next operating model transformation.

The Sr PM-NetSuite is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating the NetSuite project team which focuses on the delivery of MRP, SCM, and FI capabilities for Products (manufacturing) operations.

The Sr PM-NetSuite will be responsible for managing multiple, large, complex projects using PMBOK, agile, and related processes in a fast-paced environment that will cross multiple business divisions and locations.

The Sr PM-NetSuite will be expected to use their knowledge and experience in blending these practices and methods to provide the right balance of delivery agility and predictability.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Project planning and management

• Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects; budget tracking and reporting
• Work with the NetSuite PMO to help manage exceptions and provide status

Team Management

• Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work, and mentoring and developing team members
• Support the solution architects and technology leads in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
• Work with the NetSuite project's executive and change leadership to ensure smooth team member onboarding and adoption

Team Building

• Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team

Job Related Competencies

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as strong knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
• Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
• Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
• Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
• Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
• Develop and manage projects which standardize and drive adherence to critical Supply Chain process, systems and functions.
• Facilitate creation of standard work processes (SOP) for all supply chain related tasks, inputs and outputs; establish systems and process to measure compliance to the standards.
• Drive MRP, TMS, S&OP, MES, etc. supply chain projects and functional implementations.
• Drive SAP - WMS Implementation Project; develop and execute training and plans for the organization.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and teams to design creative processes and systemic solutions that provide visibility and drive value/results for the organization.
• Support future business needs to drive Supply Chain excellence.

Education and Certifications:

• University, college degree or equivalent experience is required. A college degree in engineering, supply chain, project management is preferred

Certifications (preferred, not required):

• Project Management: PMP
• Agile: CSM, PMI-ACP or PSM
• SCM: SCOR or other APICS/SC certification
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools (preferred, not required):
• Agile Project Management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or equivalent
• Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
• Advanced Planning & Scheduling, MES, S&OP, TMS, and WMS tools and systems

Related Experience:

• A proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale software implementations, especially NetSuite
• Knowledge and experience with NetSuite is preferred, particularly with MRP and manufacturing capabilities
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams. PMP preferred
• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
• Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 5-10 team members including Developers, Business Analysts, QA Personnel, and 3rd party consultants
• Prior experience in scaling up agile deliveries across multiple development teams preferred
• A software developer or NetSuite analyst background experience preferred
• 2-3+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably leading projects in this area
