The Networks team designs, builds, and maintains all the communications infrastructure that supports our high-capacity, low-latency trading and data research environments, operating 24/7 across over 25 countries and 100 locations. We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with experience in designing and managing large environments to meet the high-performance and availability needs of a leading algorithmic trading firm in global financial markets.
This role requires both project management and deep technical expertise. Collaborating with some of the brightest minds in our industry, you will be responsible for product selection, design, routing configuration, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with our Systems and Trading Operations teams, as well as other departments at HRT, to build, manage, and monitor our low-latency trading network. You will have broad responsibilities with the freedom to analyze and solve problems, directly impacting our worldwide operations.
We seek someone passionate about technology and excited about tackling big-picture problems. You will work on diverse projects to enhance the performance and capacity of our global trading and research platforms, contributing to both strategic planning and the technical details of our network architecture.
Qualifications
The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000 annually, commensurate with skills and experience. The role also offers discretionary performance bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
