Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a motivated geotechnical engineer, geologist, or soils lab technician looking to manage a wide variety of different projects including subsurface explorations, foundation analysis and design, slope stability, and soils laboratory testing.

Duties:

• Supervision and mentorship of field staff

• Management of a wide variety of projects including residential and commercial development, government facility improvements, field and laboratory soils testing. Typical tasks include proposal preparation, contract review, report preparation, and budget tracking.

• Subsurface explorations, soil classification, shallow and deep foundation analysis and design, earth retaining structures analysis and design, slope stability analysis, and settlement analysis.

• Perform and oversee field and laboratory soils testing.

• Review and preparation of a variety of reports including foundations report, earth retaining structures reports, field and laboratory test results reports.

• Supervision of subcontractors.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Geotechnical Consulting Industry

- Holds or is working towards a professional license (PE/PG)
