A leading Florida-based contractor specializing in occupied-building restoration is growing its Gulf Coast presence and seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator to lead pricing efforts across complex restoration, waterproofing, and façade repair scopes.
This role plays a critical function in supporting the pursuit and delivery of high-rise and commercial capital improvement projects — often involving structural concrete repairs, balcony rehab, waterproofing systems, access scaffolding, and coatings. Projects typically occur in live environments, requiring thoughtful sequencing and highly accurate cost planning.
You'll be at the center of how projects are pursued, priced, and won — collaborating directly with preconstruction, operations, and executive leadership to align bids with risk tolerance, delivery strategy, and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of competitive estimates for restoration and waterproofing projects from conceptual through final bid
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and labor/material costing based on site conditions and building logistics
- Evaluate scope documents to identify cost risks, value alternatives, and schedule constraints
- Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing for accurate market reflection
- Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with financial risk mitigation
- Collaborate with internal teams to support handoff, change order pricing, and project budgeting
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of estimating experience in construction, with 3+ years in concrete restoration, waterproofing, façade/access systems, or structural repair
- Strong financial acumen — deep understanding of labor forecasting, unit pricing, production rates, and margin control
- Experience with occupied-building renovations, especially high-rise or complex access jobs
- Proficiency in takeoff and estimating platforms such as Bluebeam, OST, Planswift, or similar
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and client-side stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
If you're a strategic thinker with a solid grip on both the financial and technical sides of restoration estimating, this is a high-impact opportunity to lead from the front and shape how work is won along Florida's Gulf Coast.
