There are multiple opportunities to extend. ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. In this role, the Scorer/Timerat Laurelhurst Community Center for the Cubs 2025-2026 basketball season will be keeping time with accuracy and fairness, and facilitate a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants. Schedule:Fridays, typically 4:30-8pm Estimated Start Date:Trainings will take place starting early November. Season begins January 2, 2026 and ends March 20, 2026. Scorer/Timerduties and responsibilities include:
- Keep time and score - with accuracy and fairness!
- The timer will regulate the playing time and track the duration of the game.
- Facilitate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants
Scorer/Timerrequirements include:
- Have fundamental knowledge of basketball and its rules
- Experience working with kids
- Must pass a criminal background check
Pay:
- Starting Pay: $20.76/hour. Returning staff may receive up to $23.00/hour.
