Location New York,NY Description ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Risk Investigator-Social Responsibility to support our premier client's Social Responsibility team, which develops and enforces global Supply Chain Standards. This role is essential to identifying and resolving risks across the supply chain, enabling scalable, ethical, and efficient operations worldwide. We are seeking a Risk Investigator with strong organizational skills, a bias for action, and the ability to see around corners. The ideal candidate will have a background in compliance or risk management and thrive in cross-functional environments. This position starts as a 6-month contract with potential for extension, working hybrid from New York, NY, Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA. The role pays around $34-36/hr based on experience. Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Management & Remediation Identify root causes of compliance issues and determine appropriate short- and long-term remediation strategies to uphold Supply Chain Standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Lead stakeholder discussions to align priorities, manage timelines, and drive accountability across global teams.
  • Program Execution & Metrics Develop and maintain auditing mechanisms, track program metrics and goals, manage escalations, and assess forward-looking program needs.
  • Process Optimization Drive process improvements through automation and scalable solutions; implement lean principles to improve efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Master's degree or equivalent advanced education
  • Experience implementing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies or similar process improvements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies
