Akkodis is seeking an RF Engineer for a contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ(Hybrid). You will support small cell and DAS network deployments through end-to-end project execution and technical design. Rate Range: $47/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. RF Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design and implement DAS and small cell networks, including site selection, CW testing, and RF propagation modeling.
- Manage end-to-end small cell deployment projects, including power design, node configuration, and equipment selection.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients, providing technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform system optimization and troubleshooting, using tools like spectrum analyzers, power meters, and pilot scanners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as FCC, OSHA, and city-specific wireless system requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including AutoCAD drawings, BOMs, and system test reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of RF engineering experience, particularly in small cell and DAS environments.
- Proficiency in RF design tools (e.g., Atoll, iBwave), and experience with LTE, 5G, and RF propagation.
- Hands-on experience with small cell deployment, power engineering, and RF/fiber testing and troubleshooting.
