Role and responsibilities
  • Design efficient algorithms that can be implemented on IBM's platforms to yield new or improved computational capabilities.
  • Characterize advantages using complexity theoretic arguments as well as comparison to state-of-the-art techniques.
  • Work with the AI, software, and hardware teams to help design more efficient algorithms leading to improved AI reasoning and predictive capabilities.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Experience with algorithm design and analysis, AI reasoning, or related topics in computation.
  • Familiarity with programming languages for scientific computing (Python, or equivalent).
