We have immediate opportunities for Per Diem/On-Call Receptionists (On-site & No Weekends) to join our team. Our Receptionists are responsible for delivering supportive, capable and efficient service to callers, clients and visitors so that each person's experience is positive and seamless from entry to exit. As a Per Diem/On-Call Receptionist you will fill in as needed when regularly scheduled receptionists need to be off - this may include full or half days including early evening hours, covering for vacations and other scheduled or unscheduled time off. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, which includes valuing all individuals, supporting the individual's potential for growth, and enhancing a programmatic service system approach.
  • Maintain a calm, welcoming environment that is conducive to receiving services and maintains confidentiality; efficiently manage sign-in and navigation of visitors attending events at CORA
  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to callers; answer, screen and transfer calls using a multi-line phone system; make announcements using overhead paging system as appropriate
  • Greet and promptly assist all clients and visitors; provide necessary forms and information to new clients; facilitate clear communication with service providers
  • Maintain up-to-date client appointments and room schedules.
  • Maintain security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Anticipate and address client/visitor concerns before they escalate
  • Ensure reception desk and lobby are tidy and presentable
  • May perform clerical tasks such as filing or processing mail
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably as a receptionist/administrative assistant in a social services or healthcare environment where confidentiality was critical
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, and all other visitors
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (especially Word and Outlook)
  • MUST be extremely flexible and willing to work on-call/as needed
