About the Role

EfficiencyOneis seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager, Continuous Improvement,to lead and support initiatives that drive foundational change across our EfficiencyNova Scotia programs. In this role, you will manage and execute improvementprojects that enhance our internal processes, foster staff engagement, anddeliver better customer outcomes.

·Project Management: Develop, manage, and oversee detailed project plans for variouscontinuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategicpriorities.

·Execution and Delivery: Directly lead project tasks, including research, stakeholderconsultations, budgeting, scenario development, and developing recommendations.

·Staff Engagement: Facilitate collaboration across departments through communication,strategic discussions, and working groups. Lead change management efforts tosupport the adoption of continuous improvement projects.

·Framework Implementation: Support the rollout and advancement of an organization-wide continuousimprovement framework.

·Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Information and Analytics, Change andProcess Excellence) and external stakeholders to evaluate and implementchanges.

·Communication & Documentation: Communicate the overarching vision of continuous improvement andcontribute to developing tools, practices, and procedures.

·Monitoring: Track and report progress against defined objectives and targets.

·Additional Projects: Contribute to other initiatives as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in a relatedfield (e.g., Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance) orequivalent combination of education and experience.

·At least 3 years of experienceleading projects from planning through execution.

·Minimum 2 years working onenergy efficiency, electricity demand reduction, small-scale renewables, orclimate change mitigation programs.

·Strong analytical, strategicthinking, and problem-solving abilities.

·Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills.

·Proven ability to managemultiple priorities and coordinate across teams.

·Proficiency in MS Office,especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

·High level of professionalism,integrity, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ·Experience in developing and/orimplementing process improvement changes.
  • ·Stakeholder engagement (internal orexternal), by seeking feedback, asking questions, and objectively assessinginputs from a variety of sources.
  • ·Experience in completing detailedresearch and analysis, considering various inputs and opinions, draftingoptions, and developing recommendations to solve specific problems.
  • ·Comprehensive understanding ofEfficiency Nova Scotia programs, including how they relate to each other andthe overarching goal of customers completing upgrades or changing theirbehaviour.

What to expect in yourfirst several weeks on the job:

In the two weeks, expect to:

·Meet the SeniorDirector, Information and Analytics (I&A) and other members of the I&Ateam.

·Familiarizeyourself with EfficiencyOne's culture, practices, and procedures.

·Review details ofthe Customer-Lens Program Design Principles project and Phase One Assessmentreport and documentation.

In the first month,expect to:

  • Assessthe findings of the Phase One Assessment report and begin drafting aproject plan to implement the recommendations.
  • Meetwith leaders and employees across the organization to discuss the draftplan and obtain their feedback on the timing, approach, etc.
  • Developa deeper understanding of core current-state business processes.
  • Developa high-level plan for the first 90 days in your role.
  • Draftyour individual goals and objectives and discuss performance expectations.

In the first threemonths, expect to:

  • ·Develop and receive approval on a detailedproject plan to implement Phase One Assessment recommendations, based on aphased-in approach.
  • ·Play a lead role in completing specific tasks ofthe approved project plan.
  • ·Be the lead project manager to implement therecommendations by coordinating and working with others to complete theirtasks.
  • ·Work with other members of the I&A team tocoordinate overall corporate continuous improvement and modernizationinitiatives.
