McCormick & Co., Inc. is seeking a full-time Production Team Manager II in the Packaging department at McCormick's French's Plant, Springfield, MO.

Position Overview:

Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, the Team Manager II provides leadership for a functional team within a high-performance environment. This role oversees daily management, drives process improvements, and is accountable for team results.

The role requires a sound understanding of technical concepts, applicable work experience, and knowledge to ensure procedures are followed and standards are defined.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in a specific functional area aligned with McCormick's High Performance System principles.
  • Provide performance feedback, oversee development and training, and manage employee relations.
  • Remove barriers to team goals, utilize performance tools, and implement process improvements.
  • Lead root cause analysis for failures, document procedures, and support cross-functional interactions.
  • Manage daily team operations, ensure compliance, and communicate organizational goals effectively.
  • Create a team vision aligned with company objectives and foster two-way communication through regular meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 2-3 years' experience leading employees in a production environment
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and respect team capabilities
  • Leadership principles, financial understanding, analytical skills, knowledge of packaging equipment
  • Flexibility in work hours, willingness to relocate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanical ability, experience leading change initiatives, knowledge of SAP or ERP tools, TPM experience
