Title: Principal AI Application Architect Lead Location: Hybrid within the Northeastern and Central Regions Description: The Principal AI Application Architect Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance product capabilities. This role requires expertise in AI integration, solution scalability, and architecture best practices to ensure performance, security, and maintainability. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to drive AI advancements while maintaining a strong focus on responsible and ethical AI usage. Responsibilities: Architect AI-powered solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and resilience. Lead the end-to-end design of AI integration within web and mobile applications. Collaborate with data scientists to implement responsible AI strategies. Identify opportunities to enhance analytics and business intelligence through AI-driven insights. Research and evaluate cutting-edge AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to accelerate AI solution delivery. Develop proof-of-concept (POC) models to test AI implementation feasibility. Experiment with prompt engineering and optimize AI model outputs based on key performance metrics. Serve as a technical mentor to development teams, ensuring best practices in AI solution implementation. Remove technical obstacles and drive continuous improvement in AI-based architectures. Advocate for design principles such as reusability, operational efficiency, and scalability. Partner with product management teams to align AI initiatives with business goals. Promote an Agile environment by balancing architectural planning with iterative AI model development. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and solution architecture. Proven experience in designing customer-facing AI applications. Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, with expertise in full Java/JavaScript stacks. Experience with DataOps and MLOps workflows, including CI/CD automation for AI models. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, RESTful API design, and cloud-based AI solutions. Ability to drive AI-driven architectural transformation while aligning with business objectives. Experience leading distributed teams in large-scale AI solution development. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders. Desired Skills: Hands-on experience in LLMOps and large-scale AI model deployment. Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure. Deep understanding of software development best practices and AI governance.
