Foxconn EV System LLCJob Description - Plant Simulation EngineerLocation: Lordstown, OHReports To: Advanced Engineering Manager Primary Function: As a key contributor to the Manufacturing Planning Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting plant simulation initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain advanced simulation models that drive efficient and optimized manufacturing layout planning. This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to effectively communicate project progress and insights to internal leadership and external stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather project-related information from internal and external stakeholders and sources.
• Create simulation models to understand workflow, lineside consumption, and material replenishment strategy, and analyze process bottlenecks, buffer quantity requirements, manpower requirements, and utilization.
• Develop, validate, and refine discrete event simulation models for manufacturing systems and layouts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineering, logistics, and operations, to gather input and align simulation outcomes with production goals.
• Analyze simulation results to support data-driven decision-making in layout design and resource planning.
• Present findings, insights, and progress updates to internal stakeholders and external partners clearly and concisely.
• Continuously improve simulation workflows and contribute to best practices within the team.
• Create technical proposals and provide required input for layout planning.
• Deliver results per defined key project milestones along with team members and collaborators.
• Present project progress updates and results to stakeholders and management

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree or associate degree with equivalent experience.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Discrete event Simulation Modeling, Material flow, and Plant capacity analysis.
• Experience working on the manufacturing floor as an IE or ME.
• Previous experience with Flexsim, Plant Simulation software
• Previous experience implementing manufacturing Plant Design and Optimization solutions.
• Previous experience working as a consultant in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of applying factory simulation tools & developing optimized plant flow.
• Experience working on AutoCAD, and SolidWorks / Catia.
• Good Communication skills, Team Player, Self-Motivated & a Self-Starter
• Experience with Factory capacity planning, New Plant Design, Advanced Planning, and scheduling

• Prior background in the manufacturing company; Experience working with AutoCAD and other CAD software is a plus.
• Strong background in DES Factory simulation tools and techniques.
• Strong background in Layout design & Optimization.
• Demonstrated hands-on approach, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
• Motivated to learn and develop incredible on-the-job experience.
