McLean, VA Salary: 87-95K range + bonus Addison Group's client is searching for a Payroll Analyst with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have their Bachelor's coupled with experience running certified payroll and ADP Workforce Now software experience. This role is hybrid and direct-hire, with a starting salary in the 87-95K range + bonus. Apply here to learn more! Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly/monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including wages, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Conduct payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends, errors, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and tax filings.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing payroll data and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paylocity, UKG).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.).
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
