Job Description :
Responsibilities of the Packaging Operator:
  • Responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and cleaning all assigned equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Clears any jam-ups and restores production line operation
  • As required, set up, operate, and clean the following equipment: bailer, trash compactor, and foamer, while completing all required documentation
  • Performs product quality control checks on an ongoing basis
  • Notifies others of mechanical malfunctions to increase productivity and equipment capabilities and begins to identify areas where operators can assist in resolving concerns
Requirements of the Packaging Operator:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods (8-10 hrs)
  • Must be able to do repetitive work
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
