As an Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Operations Engineer, you will lead cross-functional projects, develop and implement next-generation sortation and distribution solutions, and be a key player in planning and executing facility network infrastructure, including new builds, retrofits, and expansions. You will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include managing project lifecycles, participating in engineering reviews, coordinating with vendors and teams, leading system design and installation, managing project documentation, communicating project status, and driving process improvements. The role requires up to 80% domestic travel, often in consecutive weeks.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience in project or process engineering, project management, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and implementing automated systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related STEM.
• Experience in distribution centers, automation, or material handling projects.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with automation solutions like conveyors, sorters, robotic cells.
