Overview

The Managing Director will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's growth by combining hands-on business development with leadership of a high-performing team of recruiters. This individual will cultivate and expand client relationships within the financial services industry and mentor and manage a team, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional search outcomes. The Managing Director will serve as both a strategic leader and a producer, balancing client acquisition with team development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Client Leadership: Originate and lead new client relationships across hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital firms, and investment banks. Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing tailored insight into hiring strategies and market intelligence. Deliver strategic growth through new business generation and expansion of existing accounts. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to strengthen market presence. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruiters to consistently achieve and exceed targets. Provide strategic direction on search execution to ensure best-in-class delivery. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture with accountability, professional development, and excellence. Implement and refine processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Search Execution & Market Insight: Partner with clients from briefing through successful placement, ensuring an exceptional client and candidate experience. Leverage market knowledge to provide intelligence on industry trends, talent movements, and competitive insights. Maintain active involvement in high-priority searches, setting the standard for quality and execution.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven track record in executive search or recruitment, with a focus on financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and building long-term client relationships.
  • Experience leading, managing, and developing high-performing recruitment teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to drive both revenue and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
