Position OverviewManager, Accessible Transit Services is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the operations of Valley Metro's Accessible Transit Services and related programs, including paratransit, RideChoice, travel training, ADA eligibility certification, and oversight of Reduced Fare and Platinum Pass programs. The role involves coordinating outreach to senior and disability communities and staffing the Valley Metro Accessibility Advisory Group.
The manager provides guidance on accessibility and ADA compliance across Valley Metro's services, facilities, and customer information. Typical duties include budget management, policy development, contract management, staff supervision, and ensuring legal compliance. The position requires experience in transit operations, policy implementation, and customer relationship management.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Planning, Business, Public Administration, or related field, plus five years of professional experience in paratransit and accessible transit services management, including three years in a supervisory role; or equivalent education and experience.
Additional RequirementsBackground check required. Valid Arizona driver's license and a safe driving record are mandatory.
