Position Description Job Summary: Summers-Taylor Concrete Division is seeking an experienced Loader Operator for the Jefferson City Concrete Plant. The Front End Loader Operator is responsible for operating a front end loader with various attachments (i.e. bucket, forks, boom pole) in a safe and appropriate manner at the Summers-Taylor Concrete Plant. The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving materials and keeping all aspects of the plant in neat and orderly condition. The Loader Operator will primarily be working outside and will be exposed to weather conditions. Job Duties:
  • Operate loader with various attachments to unload incoming freight, load outgoing freight, and move items in and around plant facility.
  • Perform daily inspection of equipment and report findings using effective verbal and/or written communication skills.
  • Maintains aggregate stockpiles.
  • Keep equipment clean and well-maintained on an ongoing basis.
  • Keep the concrete plant ground maintained.
  • Be present on time at the work site as directed.

  • Front loader operator experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.
  • Must have valid transportation.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
