LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT ADMIN (TEMPORARY)WHAT YOU'LL DO:This role is responsible for managing and facilitating learning and development strategies that integrate the company's business needs, mission, and culture. Additionally, this position manages leadership development as well as provides learning support for all employees.   • Responsible for building learning and development programs across company's workforce.
  • Serve as learning experience designer, facilitator, and coach for the organization.
  • Oversee the needs analysis on an ongoing basis to determine training needs and establish objectives for the organization, team, or individual and partner with key stakeholders to support initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical trainers throughout the company to provide mentorship and assist with development of training materials and resources.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to design and develop training solutions to improve employee retention and engagement and develop high performing employees.
  • Ensure training and instructional materials, resources, and tools are maintained to ensure effectiveness and are aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Manage learning technologies, including e-Learning tools, collaboration platforms, and LMS systems to enhance the training experience.
  • Manage the content and learning paths in the LMS system and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
  • Oversee effectiveness of training and development programs by assessing learning application, follow-through, and performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to support various organizational programs and change initiatives.
  • Partner with company leaders to develop career pathing and succession planning for team members.
  • Manage departmental budget for training programs and activities.
  • Manage relationship and outcomes with third party training suppliers or consultants. • Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.
  • Incorporates AAA's vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA's vision mission and values.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides direct management to the learning and development team.
  • Responsible for developing people, improving processes, reducing costs, monitoring quality, delivering results against established objectives, and ensuring a high level of service to internal and external customers.
  • Manages assigned employees by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing employee job contributions; maintaining compensation, resolving problems, and implementing change.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) in adult education, organizational development, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years' experience in managing training and development or instructional design
  • 5+ years' experience in leadership or management role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree (MA) in adult education, organizational development, human resources, or related field
  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) certification preferred

  • Knowledgeable in all organizational practices and HR confidentiality standards.
  • Advanced knowledgeable in MS Office tools and e-Learning and LMS software.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, including effective use of listening skills.
  • Ability to notice discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information.

  • Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction.

SALARY:Hiring Range: Equivalent to $98,634-$113,424 annuallyFull Pay Band for the Role: Equivalent to $98,634-128,214 annually.BENEFITS WE OFFER:

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Hybrid work from home and office required.
  • The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.

  • Equipment used: Computer, phone, various virtual technologies and programs, other office equipment.
  • Travel: Minimal travel (< 25%) may be required.
