Position Purpose

This role will support the Threat Infrastructure Security tools in the Centene environment. The focus will be on Data engineering/science for a Security Data Lake and automation projects. Responsibilities include developing strategy, designing, and implementing efficient data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow into the Security Data Lake.

Minimum Responsibilities:

• Design and manage data storage, schemas, data quality, and integrity.
• Develop ETL pipelines for data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Review code submissions and mentor junior team members.
• Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Acquire, clean, and analyze data, using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain predictive models.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data needs.
• Design and conduct A/B tests.
• Offer strategic advice on leveraging data for business growth.
• Streamline and automate data processes for efficiency.
• Stay updated with latest trends in technology and AI.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Participate in or lead training sessions for team skill development.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) with 5–7 years of related experience or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Databricks, SQL, Python, data pipeline design, machine learning, data governance, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI), and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, project management, independent work, effective communication, problem-solving, and technical aptitude.

Certifications (Preferred): Security+ (CompTIA), CISSP, Splunk, Databricks, Python, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Big Data.

Salary Range: $100,900 – $186,800 annually. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, stock plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
