Position Purpose
This role will support the Threat Infrastructure Security tools in the Centene environment. The focus will be on Data engineering/science for a Security Data Lake and automation projects. Responsibilities include developing strategy, designing, and implementing efficient data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow into the Security Data Lake.
Minimum Responsibilities:
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) with 5–7 years of related experience or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Databricks, SQL, Python, data pipeline design, machine learning, data governance, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI), and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, project management, independent work, effective communication, problem-solving, and technical aptitude.
Certifications (Preferred): Security+ (CompTIA), CISSP, Splunk, Databricks, Python, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Big Data.
Salary Range: $100,900 – $186,800 annually. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, stock plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
