Qualifications: The department seeks a candidate who is student-oriented, an excellent teacher, and who has an active research agenda. The incumbent must meet Academic Qualifications for AACSB maintenance of accreditation and is expected to contribute to Department and School initiatives in the community, such as applied research relating to the regional economy and networking related to his or her experience.

• A Ph.D. in Economics earned by the start date of August 15, 2018.
• Primary field of specialization in urban and regional economics.
• Experience in regional modeling.
• Demonstrated record of excellent teaching and an active research agenda.

• PhD acquired after 2013.
• Experience in regional modeling using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
• Secondary fields of specialization in applied microeconomics, such as Industrial Organization or Applied Econometrics.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
