Job Description :

Responsibilities

  • Support and develop critical applications.
  • Work in a follow-the-sun support / DevOps organization.
  • Analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring measures to remedy them.
  • Configure, test, and roll out in production new infrastructure and application changes via CI/CD.
  • Manage APIs, microservices, Docker, and managed services.
  • Support the deployment pipeline regarding packaging, deployment, and integration with test automation tools like Jenkins.
  • Ensure production stability, performance, and a secure infrastructure environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop global IT solutions.
  • Provide timely resolution of functional and technical issues, reporting incidents to the appropriate chain of command. End users include Sales, Traders, Front, Middle, and Back Office.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues in a complex financial environment with various applications and architectures regionally and globally.
  • Provide functional and technical expertise to produce maintainable, high-quality solutions, including documenting system requirements and support run books.
  • Participate actively in onboarding new applications.
  • Communicate with users regarding outages and upcoming events like releases and projects.
  • Liaise with development/support teams in Bangalore, New York, and Paris.
  • Understand regulatory environment and constraints.
  • Respond to end users within the timeframe dictated by problem severity, documenting and tracking issues and actions.
  • Adhere to internal IT norms, standards, and processes.
  • Report production and project status timely to clients and IT management.
  • Partner with global support teams (Paris/Asia) to ensure quality support for end users.

Profile required

DIVISION DESCRIPTION:Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) provides daily services to GBIS Business Units and clients. GBTO aims to meet evolving client needs and market requirements, supporting technological transformation within GBIS.

Technical Skills:

  • 1-3 years of development experience in Java, SQL.
  • 1-2 years scripting experience in Unix, Python for automation and investigation.
  • Experience with continuous deployment/delivery tools like Jenkins, GIT.
  • Knowledge of ITIL standards.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus but not mandatory.

Desired / Plus:

  • Experience supporting financial services environments.
  • Experience in a global/international financial IT setting.

Educational Requirements:

  • University degree in computer science, preferably with a background in financial markets or similar.
