Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for an Information Systems Analyst to support the Children's Medical Services Program. The Systems Analyst (SA) will, under close supervision and using established procedures, define and analyze requirements and business functions, define functional system specifications, and test and coordinate the implementation of new application systems and/or revisions to existing systems. The SA will perform systems analysis and design within a limited framework using basic systems design techniques and analysis tools.

The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through 9/30/26 with potential renewal.

Pay Rate: $38.98/hr working 40 hours a week

Location: Full time in El Monte. Potential for hybrid work after 6 months.

• Gather and develop user requirements, functional and technical requirements, for new systems and system enhancements.
• Analyze complex systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and create test scenarios working directly with users to identify data to be processed; discuss test results; and make recommendations concerning the most efficient solution.
• Prepare, review, and validate technical documents and user manuals.
• Provide technical support to users.
• Install and configure software and drivers.
• Analyze data and use reporting tools to develop reports.
• Document all work in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field -OR- One (1) year of recent experience in information systems analysis and design in a centralized information technology organization.
• A valid California Class C Driver License is required for some positions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3 - 5 years of Information Systems Analysis/Technical Support Experience.
• Technical experience with installing and troubleshooting software and peripheral devices (e.g., barcode scanner, label printers, signature pads).
• Technical support experience.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and operating systems.
• Experience with EHR systems, preferably CERNER.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Good communication and time management skills.
