Overview:
Manages cybersecurity teams, overseeing financial and human capital planning to support the bank against cybersecurity threats. Responsible for establishing and managing the WIAM Monitoring and Logging team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures for oversight functions.
- Identify priorities and collaborate with senior leadership on financial planning.
- Work across WIAM functions to develop use cases for Monitoring & Logging to address security events.
- Build and lead a Monitoring and Logging team.
- Implement security controls to mitigate risks and secure the bank.
- Coordinate security assessments for new methodologies.
- Partner with incident response teams for plan reviews and updates.
- Oversee technology and systems, evaluating and recommending tools.
- Collaborate with senior cybersecurity leaders on policies and controls.
- Develop workforce plans, recruit, and mentor team members.
- Contribute to bank-wide security training programs.
- Build stakeholder partnerships to meet cybersecurity objectives.
- Manage staffing, performance, and compliance with risk and regulatory standards.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Partners: Cybersecurity Senior Managers and Managers.
- Stakeholders: Technology team and the Bank.
- Manage functions related to Identity and Access Management, including user access, authentication, and authorization.
Manager Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 5-10 FTEs.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' relevant experience, or 9+ years' combined higher education and work experience.
- Advanced cybersecurity knowledge.
- At least 4 years' experience in cybersecurity functions.
- Minimum 1 year managerial experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years' managerial experience.
- Ability to train and mentor team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in regulated financial environments and understanding of compliance and risk management.
