General Manager - The Grilled Cheeserie : Job Details

We're seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our fast-casual restaurant in the historic Hillsboro Village in Nashville. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in a high-energy environment, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and knows how to motivate people and drive performance.

The Grilled Cheeserie is a Nashville staple. Founded in 2010 as the first mobile food truck in Nashville, The Grilled Cheeserie was started by husband and wife team Joseph and Crystal Bogan who are still involved on a daily basis. Their vision was built on one simple idea: food should bring people together. We do this by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. More than just a place to eat, we see ourselves as part of the community. We've always supported local vendors and events. Our goal is to make every dining experience feel personal. • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable performance

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and crew members

• Deliver outstanding customer service that keeps guests coming back

• Manage scheduling, labor, and inventory to achieve financial targets

• Uphold food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards

• Drive sales through community engagement, local marketing, and guest satisfaction

• Report on key performance metrics to ownership/leadership team

What We're Looking For

• General Manager experience in a restaurant setting (fast casual or casual dining preferred)

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial goals

• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

• Hands-on, lead by example management style

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and solve problems quickly

• ServSafe certification (preferred)
