SUMMARY

Under general supervision of theAthletics Coordinator and/or Recreation Coordinator, the part-time position of Facility Supervisor is responsible for supervising facilities during all league games and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Maintain continuous surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
• Control and report unruly behavior; evict individuals not adhering to behavior protocols.
• Spot hazards or potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents.
• Maintain a clean workspace for patrons and staff.
• Maintain accurate records, as required.
• Perform other related duties, as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to communicate with staff and volunteer, as well as focus on safety. EDUCATION AND/OREXPERIENCE

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Must hold a valid current CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid certification or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to provide good and effective communication both orally and written; capacity to understand and follow oral and written orders.

• Must be able to easily move through all program areas and effectively communicate and actively interact with patrons.
• Ability to work as a team member.

• Stand, sit, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently.

WORK CONDITIONS

This position requires working in internal and external environments; requires a flexible schedule to include nights and/or weekends.

WORK SCHEDULE

No more than 20 Hours per week, 1,040 per fiscal year
