Entry Level Geologist/Environmental - Energy Vault LLC : Job Details

HRPs Derby, CT office has an immediate full-time opportunity for an individual with 0 to 3 years of experience in Geology/Environmental Science. The candidate should possess curiosity, drive, and ambition. Responsibilities (depending on experience and position):

• Field team supervision
• Environmental data management
• Site assessments
• Site characterization of soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediments
• Remediation investigation, design, and implementation
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Report and proposal preparation
• Other duties as assigned

Work Experience & Knowledge (based on experience level):

• Multimedia field sampling and logging techniques
• Oversight and management of subcontractors
• Monitoring well design and installation
• Geospatial data collection and analysis
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the Northeast
• Environmental site assessments (Phase I/II/III)
• Due Diligence
• Technical writing and report preparation
• Groundwater/soil remediation technologies

Job Requirements:

• Strong background in environmental science, engineering, hydrogeology, geochemistry, geology, or related fields
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Travel up to 50%, mainly in CT and possibly out-of-state
• Bachelors degree and strong communication skills
