Description: At LJ Electrical Company, we value our apprenticeship program. Our apprentices are offered the NCCER fully accredited electrical apprenticeship program as well as on the job training. This skill heavy, competitive program creates very well rounded next electricians. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program, our apprentices earn a Journeyman role at our company.

General Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Assist electricians in the installations of multiple types of electrical systems

​​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields recommended
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals recommended
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools recommended
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Team player with drive to succeed
