Radware is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Public Relations to elevate our brand presence and shape how the world sees us. This role is central to how we communicate our value through earned media and thought leadership.
We're looking for someone who believes in the power of storytelling to drive business outcomes—and knows how to translate that into media impact. You're someone who thinks globally by default and can lead a network of regional PR agencies toward meaningful, measurable results.
The ideal candidate will recognize the opportunity outlined below and know exactly how to turn it into influence, visibility, and momentum—for both the company and their own career. As Director of PR, you will be responsible for:
Media strategy and relations: 30%
- Develop Radware's PR strategy in alignment with overall business strategy
- Effectively position Radware through media relations and external PR communications
- Maintain strong working relationships with top-tier business and tech media, security and mainstream financial press and influencers
- Develop a bench of Radware spokespeople who are skilled in shaping narratives for mainstream business and financial press, including on-camera
- Regularly measure and report how well our efforts land in the marketplace
Storytelling, thought leadership and messaging: 30%
- Partner with senior marketers to develop engaging narratives about Radware
- Work with Sales to secure PR opportunities to tell stories about Radware's customer wins
- Leverage earned and owned channels to ensure our stories are amplified
- Develop and distribute timely press releases highlighting company innovations, customer milestones and quarterly earnings, ensuring consistent, high-impact visibility across business media
PR agency management: 25%
- Set performance targets and hold each agency accountable for results
- Use data to track and report on agency performance
- Manage a budget in support of global media coverage
Crisis and change management communications: 15%
- Proactively identify and flag trends that may negatively impact Radware's reputation
- Safeguard Radware's reputation by managing negative news cycles
- Advance Radware's brand by ensuring major corporate changes land positively in the media
- Consult and advise the executive team on communications matters that impact business
Desired Experience
- Senior communications professional with 10+ years of relevant work experience in high tech, preferably in cyber security
- Foundational experience in journalism and media relations
- Exposure tocyber security, networking or B2B technology
- Some combination of PR agency and in-house media roles
- Solid quantitative skills and a clear stance on metrics and scorecards
- Trustworthy with sensitive company and employee information
- Proven ability to develop and tell effective stories
- Solid media contacts and proven ability to establish strong, new media relationships
- Experience with crisis communications and ability to maintain calm under fire
- Proven ability to deliver results on large-scale, complex projects under tight deadlines
- Business mindset where communications contribute directly to business objectives
- Entrepreneurial with a hands-on style with a strong bias for action
- Exceptional writer and dynamic communicator
Reporting RelationshipThis position will report directly to the Sr. Director, Corporate Marketing and will have day-to-day interaction with a wide variety of cross-functional and executive team members.
Education:BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
