Job DescriptionTitle: Digital DesignerReports to: Design Director, Brand CreativeLocation: Remote w/ Occasional TravelRole OverviewWe are seeking a digital designer to support the creation of elevated, conversion-minded assets across our client's digital ecosystem. This role will focus on bringing brand campaigns to life through compelling visuals on our eCommerce site (Shopify), email marketing, and digital storytelling channels. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with strong UX sensibilities, a deep understanding of how customers shop online, and a passion for creating design that is as intuitive as it is beautiful.This role collaborates closely with our eCommerce, merchandising, marketing, and development teams to ensure that design supports business goals while staying rooted in our brand's timeless, illustrative aesthetic.ResponsibilitiesDesign and update assets for our Shopify site, including homepage layouts, promotional banners, landing pages, and product storytelling momentsPartner with front-end developers to bring designs to life through clean handoffs and collaborative problem-solvingDesign and produce marketing emails, supporting both campaign storytelling and lifecycle marketing goalsContribute to the planning and execution of digital campaigns, ensuring consistent visual language across web, email, and socialCollaborate with the eCommerce and merchandising teams to create assets that support product launches, promotions, and seasonal initiativesApply UX/UI best practices to digital design work, keeping the customer journey top of mind in every layoutMaintain and evolve design systems and templates to ensure efficiency and visual consistency across platformsOptimize imagery and layouts for performance across devices and screen sizes, with a focus on mobile-first designStay informed on digital trends and eCommerce best practices, continuously looking for ways to improve the user experience through designSupport additional digital marketing needs as they arise, including display ads, paid social, and digital lookbooksDesign and manage digital assets for wholesale platforms (like Faire) and Amazon storefronts, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presentationSkills & Requirements6+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful work across digital and organic platforms like Pinterest, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), and other social media channelsExpertise in creating multi-channel campaign assets, focusing on organic channels with a strong understanding of how to design specifically for social feeds, stories, and organic contentProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with experience in animation (Premiere, After Effects) for engaging short-form contentDeep appreciation for typography, layout, and illustration in the context of storytelling across digital mediaProven ability to design work that is part of a larger, integrated campaign and lives across various touchpoints, ensuring consistency and high visual standardsStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams (marketing, content, and strategy) to ensure alignment on creative objectivesA keen eye for design that's not just aesthetically pleasing but also drives engagement and supports the brand's heritage-driven storytellingA curious, open-minded approach to design trends and innovations, particularly within social media and digital platformsStrong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines while maintaining high-quality design standardsBonus SkillsExperience using FigmaStrong image retouching skills to ensure polished, high-quality visual assetsA passion for organic social content and a deep understanding of what resonates with audiences on platforms like Meta and PinterestQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Design or a related field preferredProven experience in digital design, particularly for brands focused on organic content and social mediaUnderstanding of UX/UI principles and how to apply them to social media contentA passion for design that tells authentic, meaningful stories, with an understanding of how to engage and connect with an audienceSalary : $75K-$115K Dependent on experience (Junior Designer to Senior Designer)Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Employment type TemporaryJob function Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information TechnologyIndustries Staffing and RecruitingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at EMERGING BLUE by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Digital Designer” roles.
