Job Description :

Designs, develops and maintains databases. Designs, implements and supports database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures. Develops and implements database security infrastructure and user access accounts. Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations. Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Monitors database performance trends to identify and correct problems.

ALL REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • MUST HAVE Min 8+ years experience a must with HPE NonStop/virtual NonStop (either or) but both great to have
  • MUST HAVE SQL/MX experience a must
  • MUST HAVE Extensive experience with database design
  • MUST HAVE Strong understanding of relational databases
  • MUST HAVE Strong understanding of isolation and transaction concepts
  • MUST HAVE Detailed understanding of temporal databases (highly required, MUST)
  • MUST HAVE Able to write complex queries
  • MUST HAVE Experience maintaining SQL/MX databases and creating them on demand
  • MUST HAVE Experience with recommending Database Management Systems (DBMS) to leadership
  • MUST BE willing to work within a team
  • Bachelor in any IT technical discipline HIGH DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED. MUST HAVE ALL THE SKILLS ABOVE.

    • This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position: $67.61/hour - $85/hour
