This position offers the opportunity to leverage a broad spectrum of analytics tools to solve diverse business problems. The focus is on applying industry-standard practices and innovative ideas using structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, employing AI, machine learning, and statistical techniques to build, evaluate, and implement models. Our team creates analytical solutions that address real-world business challenges across various lines of business. Analytics-enabled technology platforms are transforming how we operationalize model outputs at Chubb. This role will collaborate closely with engineering teams to deploy models as APIs into various cutting-edge platforms. It's an excellent opportunity to develop analytic solutions for multiple business lines and deepen your insurance product knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Product Owners and data scientists on modeling projects, from development and review to implementation.
  • Execute all aspects of analytics initiatives, including exploratory data analysis, machine learning model development, evaluation, and benefit estimation.
  • Build reusable modeling frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple projects, emphasizing code reproducibility and generalizable technology assets for analytics teams.
  • Establish strong working relationships with business partners across Chubb, IT, and analytics groups.
  • Communicate results effectively through written, oral, and presentation formats.
  • Monitor model performance and report findings to business partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Physics, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an analytics-driven role; business experience and P&C industry knowledge are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL with over 3 years of hands-on development experience.
  • Experience with developing and deploying machine learning and statistical models.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to knowledge sharing; stay updated on industry trends.
  • Passion for solving business problems through analytics.
  • Advanced understanding of databases and data extraction techniques.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
