Requires TS/SCI with Poly Clearance

A data scientist will develop machine learning, data mining, statistical and graph-based algorithms to analyze datasets and generate insights. Responsibilities include prototyping algorithms, selecting models based on performance metrics, creating data when datasets are unavailable, generating reports and visualizations, collaborating with subject matter experts to automate data analysis, and implementing prototypes into production frameworks.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science) from an accredited college or university.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in designing/implementing machine learning, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, statistical analysis, AI, or software engineering with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
• Four (4) additional years of experience in software or cloud development, data analysis, or developing analytics can substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
• A Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline can substitute for two (2) years of experience; a Doctoral Degree can substitute for four (4) years.
