As we extend services with existing and new clients, the need has arisen for qualified, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Managers. We are seeking excellent candidates that would be a great addition to our team.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
  • Monitor all operations that affect quality
  • Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians, contractors, vendors and other staff
  • Assure the reliability and consistency of construction by checking processes and final output
  • Appraise customers' requirements and make sure they are satisfied
  • Report all identified quality issues to project executives to ensure immediate action
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
  • Review current standards and policies
  • Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
  • Ensure all legal standards are met
  • Communicate with internal/external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections
  • Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats with all stakeholders
  • Provide project leadership, coordination, and facilitate teamwork to meet project goals
  • Communicate project status to supervisor and others
  • Develop staffing projections and trend/exposure reports
  • Ensure project personnel performance meets client needs and expectations
  • Attend monthly management meetings and participate in project status calls
  • Accurately produce minutes of meetings and other documentation
  • Review contractor documentation including drawings, calculations, correspondence, insurance, bonds, submittals, clarification requests, and close-out documentation
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Designers to improve processes and standards
  • Monitor construction process to provide quality control
  • Maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, client staff, and vendors
  • Oversee performance during construction through site visits and report review
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and compliance
  • Organize and manage time effectively
  • Review construction plans and specifications
  • Inspect construction progress
  • Chair and facilitate design progress and coordination meetings, prepare agendas, and document meetings
  • Manage validation of record documents and post-occupancy evaluations
  • Manage teams of multiple project managers from initiation to completion
  • Minimum Qualifications

    Education: High School Diploma

    Travel: This is not a remote role and requires regular travel, 70% or more

    Work Experience: 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing design and construction of Data Center projects; 10 years managing multiple projects

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    • Ability to manage a team and personal dynamics to drive projects forward
    • Ability to coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and managers for project resources
    • Fundamental knowledge of relevant technical requirements
    • Ability to lead project meetings effectively
    • Proficiency with Windows-based platforms and computer skills
    • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills for routine to complex problems
    • Good team collaboration skills
    • Desire to elevate construction standards
    • Knowledge of construction and electrical codes, plan reading skills
    • Strong budget and change management skills
    • Adherence to project management policies, processes, and client guidelines
    Compensation

    The annual salary ranges from $110,000 to $165,000, based on location, experience, skills, and certifications. The role may include variable incentives.

    Physical Demands
