Control Systems Integrator (Logistics & Automation Division)Direct Hire, Full TimeOnsite Charlotte, North Carolina, Monday-Friday with 30-50% TravelTarget Pay $30 - $34 plus Overtime, plus per diem while travelling

Job Description:

You will work with company engineers (hardware, software, robotics, project managers, designers) and travel to customer locations to implement and commission automated material handling systems. Your role involves using software code created by others to enable communication between machines, including coding tools such as PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and VFDs. With your technical background, you will work with and learn programming languages like C++, Python, or Java depending on customer site requirements. These projects involve learning new systems and languages, with installations that may require travel up to 9 months, typically with a schedule of a couple of weeks onsite followed by a week back, with 30%-50% travel.

Required Skills:
  • 1-5 years experience working with Controls Engineers and implementing automated control systems.
  • Experience programming PLCs & HMIs.
  • Software programming experience.
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and facility layouts for machinery.
  • Some college coursework in software programming languages, likely from a 2-year college or studies in electrical/mechanical engineering.
    • Desired Skills:
  • Programming experience with SCADA and VFDs.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Experience with robotic applications (Fanuc, Kuka, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
