We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to join our international team. This is a pivotal role where you will be the bridge between our cutting-edge RTC technologies and the innovative needs of our clients across various industries.

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect for Tencent RTC, you will be the primary technical expert in the sales cycle, working closely with our sales and business development teams to craft and present compelling real-time communication solutions. Your deep understanding of our RTC products and the broader communication landscape will be instrumental in driving customer adoption and success.

This is a pivotal role where you will be the bridge between our cutting-edge RTC technologies and the innovative needs of our clients across various industries.

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect for Tencent RTC, you will be the primary technical expert in the sales cycle, working closely with our sales and business development teams to craft and present compelling real-time communication solutions. Your deep understanding of our RTC products and the broader communication landscape will be instrumental in driving customer adoption and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Consultation: Serve as the lead technical resource for our clients, providing in-depth knowledge of Tencent RTC's capabilities, including video and voice calling, interactive live streaming, and our comprehensive SDKs and APIs.
• Solution Design & Architecture: Collaborate with prospective clients to understand their specific business challenges and technical requirements. Design and architect tailored, scalable, and robust real-time communication solutions that leverage the full potential of the Tencent RTC platform.
• Product Demonstration & Proof of Concept (PoC): Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and customized proof-of-concept implementations that showcase the value and technical superiority of Tencent RTC solutions.
• Sales Enablement: Empower the sales team with the technical knowledge and materials needed to effectively engage with clients. This includes creating technical presentations, solution diagrams, and competitive analysis.
• Proposal & RFI/RFP Response: Lead the technical response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs), ensuring that our proposals are technically sound and effectively address the client's needs.
• Market Feedback & Product Improvement: Act as a crucial liaison between our clients and internal product and engineering teams. Gather and translate customer feedback and market intelligence to influence the future direction of Tencent RTC products.
• Industry Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of the real-time communication industry, including emerging trends, competitive landscape, and key use cases in sectors such as social entertainment, online education, telehealth, and enterprise collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role within the cloud computing, SaaS, or telecommunications industry.
• Technical Acumen:
• Strong understanding of real-time communication technologies, including WebRTC, VoIP, and video/audio codecs.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., Tencent Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with mobile and web application development is highly desirable.
• Experience with API integration and design.
• Communication & Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
• Customer-Focused: A genuine passion for understanding and solving customer problems, with a proven ability to build strong client relationships.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Team Player: A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international team environment.
• Self-Motivated: Proactive and able to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Tencent Cloud products and services.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or other languages is a significant plus.
• Previous experience in the video conferencing, live streaming, or unified communications as a service (UCaaS) industry.

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $124,800.0 to $254,400.0 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
