Experience: 2-7 years in any freight forwarding company
Role & Responsibility:
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities with potential clients, including freight forwarders and shippers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
- Explore and evaluate new business opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the logistics sector.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers/ feeders.
- Develop relations and business with carriers/ feeders.
- Explore new areas of business in terms of sectors and carriers.
- Analyze targets and develop plans of action.
- Work on cost management to provide competitive rates within profit guidelines.
- Support locations in volume business growth.
- Maintain weekly reports on inquiries generated versus business secured.
