The GenAI Evaluation Media (GEM) team is seeking Applied Scientists to help revolutionize how customers evaluate products through visual media. You'll develop machine learning, computer vision and generative AI solutions that create beautiful, accurate, and impactful imagery and videos at scale.Required Qualifications:PhD or MS in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or related fieldStrong background in deep learning, particularly in computer vision and generative AIExperience with large-scale ML model development and deploymentProven track record of delivering ML solutions in production environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with multimodal understanding and foundation modelsBackground in image/video synthesis, 3D computer vision, or visual quality assessmentTrack record of scientific publications in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS)Familiarity with e-commerce applications of computer visionYou will help build foundational science solutions that enhance and transform how millions of customers visually evaluate products across Amazon's global stores. - PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience- Experience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly with respect to computer vision algorithms- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market.
