Job Description :

We're looking for a self-motivated, result-driven Application Specialist who will be responsible for TW application support, reporting to Nova's Application Team Lead.

The Application Specialist is a field role responsible for supporting customer's application development on-site/remotely. The job of the position involves supplying metrology solutions, bridging the gap between field and HQ, supporting pre-sales activities, and being sensitive to technology roadmap change, joint work with HQ divisions to win key demo/evaluation activities. The role should be working closely with the account team to support pre-sales activities to ensure Nova has a winning strategy.

  • Supply/sustain on-site OCD / XPS / Raman / SIMS metrology solution support multiple modules, i.e., Litho/CMP/Etch/Dep.
  • Communicate and establish good relationships with customers for process & issue understanding.
  • Involve up-to-date new metrology techniques/products/applications and perform pre-sales demos/presentations to customers.
  • Co-work with HQ or other subsidiaries (i.e., IL/US/CN/JP/SG) to develop new application solutions, able to support/work abroad.
  • Pro-actively maintain semiconductor knowledge from industry and international academic conferences.
  • Be highly sensitive in collecting market information.
  • Own presales activities for tools adoption/utilization.
  • Be flexible to cross-divisional activities per company's requirements.
  • Requirements

    Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in metrology/inspection is a big plus.
  • Above master's degree in physical, chemistry, material science engineering, or chemical engineering background.
  • Good project management, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor processes.
  • Willing to travel to various regions for customer support activities or training.
  • Think out-of-the-box, and dare to dream to win.
  • Be willing to communicate/discuss/listen to people.
  • Be willing to provide solutions to customers based on the company's product portfolio.
  • Proactively keep learning on semiconductor knowledge and new metrology techniques.
  • Be willing to dedicate to regular solution development.
