Job responsibilities include teaching undergraduate Music Technology courses including Digital Musicianship on Digital Audio Workstations not limited to: Logic, Pro Tools and computer-generated composition as well as live sound production.Other duties include maintenance and supervision of the In-House Recording Studio as well as supervision of students in the recording studio.Preference will be given to applicants with guitar and/or bass as a principal instrument.The successful candidate will also work with other faculty as well as diverse community musicians and music groups to create a greater culture of alternative, popular, and commercial music styles within the music program and on campus.Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this PositionA master's degree in music or sound recording technology is preferred.
